hey guys i turn 21 in 3 months and plan on getting my concealed carry permit like my brother, his wife, and my mom have. honestly thats the only reason i want to turn twenty one haha well that and being able to purchase lowers now and handguns. my girlfriend lives in nv with her grandparents and is going to school there. i travel there to visit fairly often and would feel a little more comfortable on my trips if i had a firearm just incase . im curious if a wyoming permit is valid there or where i could find a current list of states that the wyoming permit is good in. also i travel to salt lake quite often and i know that a non resident can aquire one of their permits would a utah permit be valid in nv if i wyoming is not ?
thanks in advance
Luke
oh yea can you even cc in nv ? i guess i shoulda asked that first lol

Yes Nevada is a CC friendly state. It is also an open carry state. My buddy just got cleared with an AR pistol! Hell Nevada law is silent on cans with a cc weapon, so legally you could silence your cc. I know we no longer recognize Utah due to no "live fire" part of their test. Wyoming I am not sure.

Worst case just open carry.

Thanx man, I was born and raised here. I traveled for a while, but this was, is, and always will be home. So whilst in transit for pistol. Mag can be loaded and in the pistol as long as there isn't one chambered. for the rifle same, none in the chamber.

Nevada law states as long as the firearm is determinable as a firearm, it is not considered concealed.

Sad to say Nevada does NOT honor Wyoming's concealed permit.

Check out http://www.handgunlaw.us/

Figure I'll not be open carrying on the strip or in the hotels in Vegas as while Nevada is OC friendly from what I understand Metro PD does not really like/approve of it and will harass/arrest you given 1/2 the chance.

Seems like NC residents need to have a blue card if I remember right & if you are from ouot of state they can/will still harass you for a blue card...
