does wilson combat make their own parts or just slap their name on it?

Heck, I don't think any brand makes everything on their rifles, even Colt. Plastic parts, aluminum parts, steel parts, spring making, hardened pins and screws, etc. Just too much to get under the factory roof.

As long as they are picky about their suppliers that's about all you can ask from them.

No they do not. They contract to have it done. Few of your custom shops actually MAKE any of their parts. Think of it as a Corvette. It is a Chevy but does Chevrolet make the parts? No they contract them out. I use to make injected molded plastic stuff for GM years ago and it is the same in the gun world.

FWIW Ruger investment casts golf club heads up in Prescott,AZ for a big US golf outfit. I can't remember the company name but my next door neighbor was an engineer for the gold outfit. When he moved his moving boxes were ALL Ruger printed shipping containers he got from work!! LOL

You can get a much more truly custom weapon from Addax, JTAC or Johnson Tactical here. You'll get a better weapon as well.
