wilderness hike in the south??

im looking for a place to hike and camp for 7ish days, prefer far from civilization, and some lakes, or rivers/streams for fishing, water.

planning on leaving 18th sep.

any ideas recomendations would be great!

Where in the south?? There is a lot of places. Land between the lakes on the TN/KY border is very nice. You also have the Appalatchian trail in east TN. Starts in north GA and runs all the way deep into yankee land if you have the time to spend on it.
