Next purchase will be a DPMS LR308.

Next build will probably be another pistol, this one in .22LR for some cheap fun.

A bull barrel upper, maybe 24 inch, to go on my Cav lower. Then some great glass to go on that.

I'm looking to do a SPR build next.

Check out Talon Arms! I got their SPR upper. It's very nice.

I'm picking up another 1911, then start a short-barreled project... not sure if I'm gonna do a straight pistol, or send it off for an SBR stamp. Either way, it's 10.5" of 5.56 or nothing else.

OK, I'm REAL slow today. Who is LRB and where can I look up their receivers? I have a complete M14 parts kit (semi only) that I got years ago and only need a receiver. I've got a guy locally that can do the assembly for me that is very talented.

fulton-armory has a lot of nice stuff for the m1. i want a m1 carbine.

The M1 is a nice and light little carbine, you can literally hold it out with one hand straight out and fire it, therein sits the problem with it, and why the military set it aside, it has NO power at all....have had one for 18 years, was one of the carbines they used to carry around in the trunks of the Cleveland Police Dept..cruisers....was pretty beat up, took it apart, had it stripped and parkerized.....kept the original beat up stock with large numbers spray painted on the butt of the stock....just thought I would pass it on.... 32.gif

Well I have a bunch of AR's I am working on....

AR 1. Is my 20 inch gun and except for a better Scope its BASICALLY done.
Double star Lower with a DPMS high rise upper with a 20 inch bull barrel that's been fluted with JP trigger KNS pins and a crappy Simmons scope. Only thing I may add someday is a nicer BCG and like I said a nice scope.

AR 2. My "little gun" Its a Charles Daly lower with DPMS parts kit that I threw some JP springs and pins into polished the sears and got the pull down around 5lbs or so. I am about to replace its A2 Upper with a Flattop and a Magpul rear MBUS so I can run my new Strikefire. It has a 16 inch carbine length DPMS barrel with some goodies on the stock and a Millspec BCG that I polished the bearing surfaces on.

AR 3. this ones for my son (He's 10 months old so for a while its going to be my CMP gun). Right now its just a complete S&W lower with a colt A2 stock and its going to be the A2 Bushmaster upper from gun 2 with a Stainless Barrel free float Stock looking fore stock thingy and a bunch of other goodies. Till I decide if I really want to go any farther in the competition thing I plan on leaving the stock Timberwolf LPK in it.

AR 4. this ones for my daughter (She's my sons twin and its also 10 months so for now this ones going to be my wifes) This ones built on another S&W lower and is going to be a basic light weight barrel with Pink DMPS Furniture Its also built around a Timberwolf Stainless LPK and will be a .223 barrel but will shoot with a CMMG .22 kit. This ones going to be Flatop with a carry handle but Ill probably throw my Vortex Strikefire on it at some point and upgrade to something nicer for myself.

Upper 5. This is going to be the upper I build at some point to replace the CMP upper that I build for AR 3. and it's going to be almost exactly like AR 4. but not in Pink at some point it will also get a .22 BCG from CMMG so he can learn to shoot.

well at least this is the plan for now. smile.gif

I bought a couple of M1 carbines at a yard sale a couple of years ago.Gave $750 for both of them and a left handed .50 cal muzzel loader. One of the M1's had this really cool stock made of cast aluminum that mounted a Thompson butt stock.I'll try and post the photo. The other was an original WW2 M1.I ended up selling the unique one on Gunbroker for $650 and traded the original to a guy for an M&P 15 at a local gun show.I gave him $100 to boot.Still have the muzzel loader.

Next will most likely be a M1a Scout. Adding a Sage EBR system, Harris bipod, midrange optics, maybe a VFG.
