Finally some pics of all the new parts installed on the M&P. I also have a new addition to the family my 9 lb 3 oz, 22 1/4" long son Triton James!!!!!

(No pics of the son---I don't like to post personal photos of the ones I love on forums, haha)

Everything installed nicely and I think they look great...the gun looks as my wife stated, "Serious".

Thanks, I like it.... a lot.

The Magpul MOE fits tighter after the re-install after having to put rails on it (this is a good thing). The VFG from CAA is a lot nicer than anticipated and feels nice and snug. The CAA Pistol grip....is worth every single dollar it feels 100X's better than the stock grip. For just short 100.00 (if I remember correctly) was well worth it. The pistol grip does have a slight gap towards the rear....I'd say a mm or so.

Anyone who is looking for fast and easy swap that is excellent on the wallet....this is it. The best component of all is BY FAR the MOE Handguard, and the pistol grip a honorable 2nd.

Thanks for the compliments. That's not an aimpoint sitting a top the rifle, however. It is actually a vortex with the standard ar15 riser. I am pretty certain from firing a few aimpoints that the vortex rings would work nicely on the aimpoint. PM TigerStripe, as I bet he knows exactly which mount this will compare to for mounting hieght.

Thanks guys, I placed 4 rounds from what I believe is a simulated man size target from 25 yards as a 50 yard size silhouette --shot at 50 yards-- and placed all 4 rounds in the read w/ rapid fire. The new grips sit better in the hand for sure.

Nice looking weapon! The Vortex looks a lot like an Aimpoint and works very well also. You can get the Vortex Strikefire from Addax: link. The co-witness with that mount is a lower 1/3rd co-witness. I beat the hell out of my test model and it still works. I just need to take a few more pics...

I just put an MOE on my AR today, and I have to agree. The FDE looks real good. Should have rails for it in a day or two.

Thanks guys, and again thanks to you TS and Addax for recommending the Vortex for what I needed.

To second TS's torture comment, when I was sighting the Vortex in I dropped the entire gun off the seat if my ATV and hit the scope directly on the foot guard..." it was sighted before this"....and was DEAD ON when i checked it again and placed three rounds inside a dime. Since then I was checking the chamber prior to cleaning the gun and forgot to throw the action forward.... disassembled the gun and literally launched the upper about 2 feet to the floor.....

The scope is still dead on. I just ordered a Fenix PD30 225 lumen light that might be getting mounted to the gun as a light. I may even drop the $$ on the TK11 R2 and use it as a gun light @240 lumen OTF for roughly 77.00 it's a steal.

By the way....I'll be setting out how well the light works for this application and what type of recoil it will take ( I already have a surefire g2L 80 lumen to compare it to).
