Then I went to try them out...man I hit the nail on the head with the Noslers. The Comb. Tech's need a little tweaking, but still shot very nice.
Tomorrow, I think I will clean my bench and load about 100 rounds of .223 and 20 more 22-250.
This reloading business is fun, but it is taking me away from the Armory!

I've got a new SPS 700 Remington Varmint that I got three years ago that has not been fired. I figured I'd do something "special" for it as it has beens o mistreated and ignored. Went rummaging in the garage and came up with 500 nickeled Federal once fired cases. Started sizing them back to zero size s I can fire form them in my chamber. I was sizing them on my 650 and must have got a little rambunctious because somehow the primer advancing lever on the primer plate got bent and was hanging up the system. Pulled that off and messed with it for a time. The material is hard as blazes and doesn't bend easily. Gave it my best shot and still no joy. Therefore it is off to Dillon today with primer system in hand to get a new actuator. Darn, I hate it when I have an excuse to go buy there!!
I figure I'll just load up some 55 grain FMJ's for break in in this barrel and then will try some 40 grain VMAX over a stout charge of AA2200, We worked up a sub 1/2 MOA load for my stepson two years ago on his SPS 223 that is a real screamer and devastating on PD's. He runs naked bullets but I have decided to go ahead and DANZAC the ones for this rifle. (Bullet Porn to follow)
After I wring this one out I think it will be on to the 243 700 that I picked up used. It might be a good candidate for a walking PD gun but I will also work up a good deer load for that outside possibility.

I'm almost out of Bulls-Eye for the .38spl, but my brother has 12# of 700X that he says works just as well with almost the same load I'm using. I checked and it's within 1/10 of a grain....The target will never notice the differance.
The weather is drying and I might get a chance to break out the .458 Socom and work on some of my cast bullet loads.

Finished sizing the 500 223 cases and will start priming and loading them on Saturday. I'll use the Dillon 300 or a Lyman to put these together. Forty rounds ought to do it without issue so I can shoot 4 different loads for a blasting load selection for the FMJ's.

Well loaded 30 rounds last night! 5 each of H335 starting at 23gr up to 25.5 grs under 50gr Rem bullets. Now I get to go out this week end and see witch shoots best out of my Del-Ton 16in 1/7 twist
Well I didnt think I would get quite the results I got with this run! The 23gr load under the rem 50gr fmj turned out to be the best
Last night every one went to bed on me so I ended up loading up some .45acp. 230gr fmj over 6.5gr Power Pistol. Will see how they work this weekend. I still need to test my .223 50gr and see wich charge works best so I will take the 1911's with me and give them a whirl also
This Load work GREAT out of my 1911!! Always nice to Know you did good
