Going camping/hiking/fishing and of course taking photos in the Grand Teton at the end of September.
Getting the all weather gear ready for this one.

Will be there for 12 days. Just me and my dad.
Looking forward to hanging out with my pa.

I hope to photograph some bears while I am there.

I cannot wait to see the pictures that you take there.

I hope that you have fun there with your dad.

My all time favorite national park. Catch a few cutthroat for me. I want to go back REALLY bad. I love that place.

I am one jealous guy!
Legs, you have truely been blessed. It sounds like you have a ton of good places to camp and hike. For goodness sake you were able to spend time outdoors in Brazil! Those were some very nice pictures, all of your pics are nice, i might add.

I know you and your father will have some good times together. Enjoy these times as much as possible, and send some more pics!

Have a safe journey.

My favorite place as well. Best time for wildlife is around dawn/dusk. Best places for Grizzly are the northern areas of the park between Moran Canyon and Berry Creek west of Jackson Lake.
IOW, the road less traveled. But hey, those guys, especially the Blackies, are hungry this time of year and may be anywhere.
Have fun and we do expect to see some of your usual top notch photos!

Was told it was snowing up in the Tetons already thumb.gif thumb.gif

Experting lots of superb pictures to drool over oh yea.gif

Swing in to Jedediah's House of Sourdough and we can compare notes on how good/bad it is, the sourdough starter dates back to 1870 and rumor is it's the best sourdough you will ever have.

Can't wait to get to Jackson Hole (Elev. 7196 ft), it's going to be a great weekend even if it's going to be way to short and busy to enjoy everything the area has. We have plotted out a scenic auto route that winds into Idaho as long as the roads are open laugh.gif Going to be going over almost all of the passes listed above, ohhhhh fun times here we come banana.gif banana.gif

Thats awesome news. Been viewing live cams and there was no snow. I have been praying for snow.
Whole reason we are going up is for snow on the mountains and fall colors.

Looks like I should have optimum ops for photos.

Was a semi overcast day highs in the low 70's lows in the lower 40's and zero snow. Only picture I've got on photobucket right now, will try and get more up Tues if not sooner since Tues if my next day off work.
