I am looking at adding the Magpul ACS stock to my Bushmaster but not sure if my current factory stock is Milspec or Commercial size, since the current ACS is only Milspec its fairly important i get this right the first time. Once again i appreciate any help you guys can give me.

Unless it is a LEO model I would bet you have a commercial set-up and would suggest ordering the entire kit in Mil Spec for replacement.

Take a look at Magpul's website, they have some pretty easy to follow instructions for how to tell if you have a commercial or milspec version.

Commercial Stock will fit a Mil Spec tube however it will be loose versus the Mil Spec Stock will not fit a commercial tube, unless you beat it on with a Hammer. laugh.gif
Mil Spec tube OD size is : 1.145" ~ 1.150"
Commercial Tube OD size is 1.165" ~ 1.70"

Here is two pics of a Mil Spec tube, notice how the end is of the tube is straight and not slanted.

Commercial Stock is slanted like the Red Line Indicated in this photo.
