I want to set up my Trust so as the Wife can be in possession of the SBR (later to be SBR's/cans) WITHOUT me being there. She likes to shoot too, and my working for an Elected Official does not always allow us to shoot together. Sometimes we have to travel separately to the same destinations so on and so forth. I want the Trust to own the weapons, and for her and I to control the Trust. I'm just using Quicken Willmaker 2009.

I'm told that it's not a good idea as it may cause problems with the Feds approving the paperwork...

Now to clear the air... She was once in LE with me, we've been married long enough to have 17/13 year old boys. So I'm not worried about any questions arising out of, or having to do with divorce. I just want to know if I can do it, and more importantly who's done it and how?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Remember, the Founding Fathers reason for the 2nd Amendment... to combat tyranny. Sadly, when people discuss the 2nd Amendment, the opponents erroneously think it was meant to stand alone... it HAS a preamble:

"...But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security..."

Yes sir I have one and your wife will be a co-trustee on it, this will also allow her to purchase form 1 or 4 on the trust as well.

I strongly urge you to get a trust here, this will also allow you to list your dependents who will take over the trust and the items on the trust will pass down to them.
