I ordered it from Aimsurplus on the 5th and picked it up late last and been giving it a thurogh cleaning and such.
But here the detail's
The parts as far as I can tell are from a 1975 issue FPK and and surprisingly well kept for being 34yrs old and in case to many questions by family as to where it came from I just answer look it was made the year I was born

to throw them off topic.
Ok back to my com-bloc rifle.
Bolt, carrie, top cover all matching #'s but the selector seems to be from another rifle and it had a good goob of rust that required me to break out the gun's for a cleaning.
The finish is typical for a eastern bloc rifle but isnt at all bad. Just a few scratches here and there but no big issue's. If I ever get the chance to refinish it at a later time I will but its the last thing on my mind.
Wood is clean and purdy with no cracks just a small indentation here or there. Scope rail has a lil bend in frt and behind the locking notch but the scope slides on with a lil luv tap and comes off easy.
Scope is clear for something made in 1978 and you'll see in the pic's below.
Mags dont match and I hope they work or Im off to play the do I have your mag game at the akforum.net .
I like how the ammo is still fairly cheap (one reason I got it) but I got to experiment and see what she like's the best and at the same time a outdoor range that wont freak at me shooting mild steel core ammo (sigh)

Hoping that I can find a range that is friendly and I can give you all a range report in the coming week's.
