You know, we never really talk about what calibers are popular in other countries. I thin .45's are pretty popular in the Philippines. I wonder if the 10mm has ever really caught on in other places? Anyone know?

We have had members on this forum from, or at least fans, of the 10mm from England and Austria who used to chime in fairly regularly.
One was also from South Africa and eventually moved to Santa Fe.

In Switzerland are only a few real hardcore 10 Auto fans. Most of them use Glock 20 handguns. Followed by Colt Delta Elite and the different S&W 10.. Models. Very scarce factory ammo supply, only UMC, Norma and Priv Partizan. Sometimes you get some old Winchester 155grs. Match ammo. You must reload to keep the 10 Auto alive.

I would imagine the numbers are dismal. Although, both Glock and Tanfoglio offer 10mm guns. Perhaps it has more appeal than I think.

Ravenman, nice to see that your still with us. Interesting insight about the 10mm in Switzerland.

I am a Canadian 10mm fan checking in. I currently have a Glock 20SF and a S & W Model 610. I started with a Glock 20 which I ended up selling due to its large grip size. The Glock 20SF was the perfect solution for me. Factory ammunition is tough to come by and is expensive; I would think that you would want to be a reloader for this calibre in this country or have very deep pockets.

Regards,

Chizzy
