I'd like to get a leather sling for a Garand. Repro, no question. The two I have found that look decent are Turner Saddlery
or El Paso Saddlery

Which one do you like better? Have you heard anything about the Turner? El Paso, of course, is well respected.

G,

I like the El Paso sling, the finish looks better and you already said they were well respected. I do not know anything about the other sling.

A lot of folks at CMP rave about the Turner sling. I ordered one. Turner will take two weeks, El Paso will take 6 weeks.

The girl at Turner was really nice. I asked her where the slings were made, because I didn't want anything from China, and she was great -said they were made by them, in America with American leather from American steers. Got to love that.

I liked the Turner sling. It looks like it does the same thing at a lower price.

I shoot NRA Nat. Match and the Turner is used by just about everybody shooting Service Rifle. I have them on both my AR15A2 NM, M1 Garand, and a P 1917. The Turner sling is first class.

But then I got my Addax Gas piston AR. Sure I still have to keep a few small replacement parts, but I'll let you kick me in the balls for every malfunction I have with my Addax GPU, thats how reliable it is!

So far we are at, hold on, let me check..... ZERO!
