But haven't been able to find any reviews on it. First saw it in my latest NRA mag. What do you think? (not just for airguns)

its basically a wide-laser-beam add-on, that acts like a flash light.

First warning- Air Gun Depot.

Is it truly a laser or a green flashlight?

I would not want someone pointing a laser at me.

Pricey, but very interesting. Though it does seem like a viable alternative to laser/light combos. Just wish you could close the aperture tighter so you could get a true pencil laser beam.

Here is the product's home site: http://www.lasergenetics.com/nd3-laser-designator.html

I am trying to find a good price on this, so far the cheapest is $280... definitely would like one for my next hog hunting trip... (and in stock, so far $299 in stock) if it don't work well, I'll sell it on eBay or GunBroker... Wish Addax had it for cheap... they don't list it.

Per their website a video is coming out soon. Can't wait to see it, I've had something like this in mind for a long time and first time I've seen this type of development. If I hadn't just ordered a new upper assembly I'd be ordering one of these already!

There's a short video on their website. It's posted where Energizer's link goes.

My opinion, save your money and buy something useful for your weapon.

They are also made by BSA.

EDIT: If you are looking some something to illuminate a target at 250 yards, get a Streamlight Super Tac. They are only like $70 too.

Watson, do you think they're just a gimmick? I really do like the laser/flash hybrid idea but not up on it enough. I already have a great light on my AR so this gadget is purely speculative..

The thing that gets me on it is that they claim it is like night vision, but its really just a focused green light wich will LOOK like night vision.

I can see potential uses for this but I would personally get a Surefire light/laser or an M6X.
