A memorial fund has been set up by LEX 18 and Cumulus Radio for the family of a Lexington Police officer who was killed in the line of duty by a hit and run driver Thursday night.
Officer Bryan J. Durman, 27, was investigating a call about loud music coming from a car shortly after 10 p.m. at the intersection of Alabama and North Limestone in downtown Lexington when he was struck by an SUV, which then hit two cars, slowed and then sped off.
Police located the man they say was driving the maroon Chevy Tahoe that hit Durman a short time later. Officers arrested Glen Doneghy, 33, early Friday morning after a standoff at an apartment building along Northland Avenue.
Phil Laak to David Benyamine---"Pocket Kings. How do you get pocket Kings? What technique do you use?"
Why I own a Grendel: "You don't shoot 6.5 bullets. You toss them in the air, they go downrange on their own."
"There are no such things as problems. There are only opportunities for solutions. And I have arrived at a solution for you."

According to the jail website, Doneghy has a long criminal history dating back to 1995.
Another senseless act by a worthless person.
Prayers to the family and the Department.
Since he's too old to fight, he'll just shoot you!!

"Weakness of attitude becomes weakness of character"
Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Who shall I send? And who will go for us?" And I said, "Here I am. Send me!"
