I think a 180 hp ZX-14 would still smoke them.

Yeah, they're not that fast. And, they suck gas like a hobo in a distillery.

I saw one that weighted 1000 pounds using an all aluminum 350 engine pushing 450HP and only managed 110MPH in 13 sec. in the quarter mile.

I had a 77 Chevy short bed built up with a 383 that weighed 3-4 times that and was faster doing about 120 in the low-mid 12s in a quarter run, and was in the 400-425HP range.

The problem they have is they cant put enough gearing behind them to take advantage of thier weight to power ratio so thier realy gimped to keep from breaking stuff all the time. So in short thier a waste of money and a perfectly good engine that would be better suited to be in a small to mid sized vehicle.

You want a fast bike buy a Crocket or a V-twin and lighten it up and stuff one of the big aftermarket engines like a 104 S&S or something into it.

Yep, that's a fact!! My VTX 1800 has smoked many a Harley. And, my Father-In-Law's Boss Hoss smoked me pretty good. So, Harley vs Boss Hoss is very laughable!!! :ROFLLMAO:
