Went to Pizza hut in Tucson by the Foothills mall on La Cholla....and right next to the business license on the wall they already have their "No Weapons aloud persuant to ARS...blah blah blah" sign up there. (Not even waiting until the law goes into effect on September 1st.)

I let the manager know on my way out the door that this was the last time I'd come to an establishment that was hostile to my 2nd Amendment rights. (If I'd have seen the sign before we ordered I would have just walked out before eating)

I feel strongly about this....A friend tried to convince me to join Costco because sometimes they have different deals than Sams Club....I went there fully intending to check it out...but the first thing I noticed was the huge sign saying "2nd Amendment supporters not welcome" (Actually it said No Weapons allowed...but that's my interpretation of the sign)....and I didn't go any further...and never will.

I WILL NOT go in any place that posts such a sign....they don't respect my Constitutional rights...they don't deserve my money.

Does anyone know if this is a nationwide Pizza Hut policy or something each individual franchise has to decide on their own?

I kind of like their food, and if I could find a local Pizza Hut that doesn't have the sign I'd be happy to drive across town to give them my business......but if it's a nationwide thing...I can certainly live without their food.

We went through the same crap here at first. All the talking heads claimed that 80% of places would post. Well ends up less than 10% actually did. The others that posted are still beetching about it though.

Some businesses will put up signs, but if they find that a significant number of their clientele no longer patronize their businesses, they will probably figure out that it's their stance on the second amendment. Stores are private property and I do believe it is the property owner's right to do such things, but we can make them suffer by not patronizing.

* you should write up something about Pizza Hut and post it in the general forum.

Well, just like you all said. Carry with pride and if they want to prevent me from buying from them then too bad. Sad when we are treated like criminals. If I owned the store I would welcome it, people need to learn guns carried by normal, law abiding citizens is good for everyone.
