Hey all just thought I'd report in after spending a few hours on the range with my newly reborn Five-Seven.
1. The 3-Dot sights are beyond great work. The front sight really stands out when in a lit environment. in low light or darkness. Let's just say no need to be afraid in the dark now. Yeah Mon! LOL! Outstanding work!
2. Accurizing: I'm a believer! Outstanding work here as well and not one jams or FTEs out of 1000 rounds even with SS197s being as weak as they are. It made me break the range rules they have out here about keeping firing spacing to 1 to 1.5 seconds. Way too easy to go to .5 seconds or shorter.(Many times!) Nice groups at 10m and 15yrds. Love the work you guys did.
3. Trigger Job: The people I took to the range had already fired her before I shipped to you to have the work done. This was the highest point of the session. They all could tell the differnce and loved how it felt. Even the first timers in the lanes next to us,(Yes I had to share the love!) Were amazed at how sweet she fired.) Firing one handed was a tear jerker. The hammer can fire any primer you throw at it I'm sure of that. I'm not making this up. My Glock 20 took the back seat on this one. And yes I'm sure it was jealous as it's now back to being my secondary.
This was an awesome session. The only thing missing from the equation is the EA ammo. Which means that you've got a customer for life. Anyone I know that purchases the FsN is going to be directed your way so hope things get squared with your suppliers soon cause I'm going to be sending all kinds of business your way. $600 upgrade? No problem! Now the only thing missing is a 5.5in barrel. Then again with your ammo that may not even be necessary.
To the rest of you FsN guys out there do not hesitate to get this work done. You'll never regret it, EVER! It ROCKS! Monday I'm going to the range ALONE! Needs some 'me' time with my FsN. LOL!
