I have a Colt Delta Elite in 10mm and a Glock 20. I am thinking about a Glock 29. I was wondering what is a short frame. Is the grip shorter top to bottom or front to back. Any info would help.
Thanks Dave
Once you have the G29, you will have the same 10mm's as me. The G29 is an awesome back up to the G20 as it takes the same mags and is smaller for summer carry. The 29SF (which is what I have) reduces the overall grip size. If you have larger hands, you may want the G29 but average to smaller hands may want the SF. I like the SF and I think it just fits better. If you have the opportunity try both. Also, if you have the G20 full size and it fits well then the G20 should work the same for you.
Happy shooting!

SF= 3mm shorter front strap to back strap. I have average hands and the G29SF feels better to me/

Thanks That is the info I was looking for. The G 20 is alittle big for my hand but I like it any way. The G29SF sounds like what I want.

I am 6 foot 1 inch and have long fingers, my fiance is 4 foot (not a typo) and has no problems holding my Glock 29SF. It feels better in my hands than my old trusty Ruger P85. Do yourself a favor get that sweet pistol.I have a Colt Delta Elite in 10mm and a Glock 20. I am thinking about a Glock 29. I was wondering what is a short frame. The 29 great for IWB CCW.
Mine is stoked with hot 155's.
