Has anyone found a source for replacement parts for the 7" Javelina Hunter (iAi or AMT)? I'm particularly interested in replacing the springs.

Have you tried Wolff Gun Springs? http://www.gunsprings.com/SemiAuto/AMTNF.html They have some stuff for AMT, I would give them a call to see if they can produce some thing for you!

The man who was the owner of AMT has past on and they are selling his estate, his prized guns are on the auction block. I don't know if there were any parts to be found.

The Javalina recoil springs will be a "custom order" propsition! Believe me, unless the pistol has been extensively fired, replacement should't be needed. Shoot it a while with full-power ammunition and see where she sights in BEFORE you begin tinkering with it!

I have been using standard 45ACP 24lb recoil springs. I have fired several thousand rounds with no issues.

Per an article in the Sept. American Rifleman, Crusader Gun Co., Inc. is starting to provide some parts for the AMT line of pistols. I do not know if they cover the Javalina.

Check www.highstandard.com or call 800-272-7816.
