First time in....I don't know 10yrs of so. It is small game season here and to be honest, I didn't care if I got anything or not. I went to get out of the house and get some excersise. I lugged my boys .22 savage, my Nikon a can of Cope and a bottle of water. It was a nice sunny 60ish degree fall day here in NWPA. I saw a couple squirrels, could have shot them both with the rifle but passed...shot one with the Nikon though...It was nice to get out and get away from "city life" for a little while.

That's the thing about hunting -- it doesn't really matter that much to me if I actually get to kill anything, it's more about the vacation from people and the beauty of the woods.

Of course, it's also a lot of fun to blow some little critters brains out sometimes... cb.gif

From the posture of that squirrel I'd say he wasn't very concerned about you being there with a rifle. Nice picture!

Nice pics. I like to get out and so do the kids. Seems like the older I get the less time I have to do the stuff I enjoy.

Nice pic. Too bad you passed him up, though. Squirrels are tasty.
