Saw these guys on my way to work yesterday

They were about 300 yards off or so in a field that I usually see them in, but I took a few shots with the 50D.



And since I am spike hunting next week, the one in the middle with it's head down got my attention




Not the greatest pictures, just handhelds with my 70-200mm F/4 L

Thanks for the compliments.

I am sure that if I were packing my tripod, and my good telephoto lens, that they could have turned out much better, but that day I did not even think to grab that equipment.

They did not seem too concerned with me even though it was Bull season when I took the pictures, so I could have had plenty of time to set up the tripod. Next time I will be bringing it for sure.
