or are they just top quality, very consistent?

outlaw - personally, I do not. I have 2 of their uppers and they are extremely well made, and shoot like demons. You will find they (LMT) are generally considered "top" or a "tier 1" manufacturer along with Colt and Noveske. And they have more than earned that designation...with the right barrel steel, HP and MPI testing, proper carrier key staking, and a host of other qualities that I'm sure someone with much more experience than I will be along soon to expound upon...

I own their products, I use them regularly, and I paid "extra" for their name and have not regretted it.

Depends on whom you talk to, but more often than not, you will find that people tell you that LMT stuff are top quality and worth it, as evidenced by the responses to you question. Who am I to disagree with these fine folks? bigsmile.gif
