Some one was telling me that all the pure concentrated tritium ever mined would only fot into a teaspoon.

That sounds like BS

I guess that's why those sights are so damn expiensive. laugh.gif

I have a REALLY hard time believing that Gman.

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And yet, it's true. Gold is very rare, which is why it has remained valuable.

I dunno.. is that pure gold, or lab created gold as well (if such a thing?)?

Gotta remember too, a lot of jewlery is "gold plated". So I could see that somewhat possible..thought maybe a few more pools??

The total amount of gold mined throughout human history is approximately 161, 000 tons. The US depository has about 4600 tons, and the Federal Reserve in NY has about 6000 tons, a lot of it belonging to other countries. That leaves about 151,000 tons of gold out there.

Don't you know the FED stole all of our gold in Fort Knox over the past half century. There has not been an audit of gold in Fort Knox in over fifty years.....why. Do a search on google for the "federal reserve stole gold from fort knox" and see. When will the sheep wake up?

Uhh...wrong. A film crew went inside Knox somewhere around the late 60's or 70's.

The gold WAS there. I believe it was during Nixon or Ford.

Here ya go Fort Knox

We also view the only film ever taken inside the vault, and hear testimony of those journalists and congressmen who were among the select few invited inside in 1974. Doug Simmons, who was hired to help during the 1975 audit, reveals the secrets of what really lies inside the vault. He also describes what it feels like to handle billions of dollars in gold.

Why do you THINK they have such a large military base RIGHT next door?

Wikipedia
QUOTE
At the end of 2006, it was estimated that all the gold ever mined totaled 158,000 tonnes. [1] This can be represented by a cube with an edge length of just 20.2 meters.

that is 8242 cubic meters

QUOTE
Length 50 m (164 ft)[4]
Width 25 m (82 ft)[4]
Number of lanes 8+2[4]
Lane width 2.5 m (8 ft 2 in)[4]
Water temperature 25–28°C (77–82.4°F)[4]
Light intensity > 1500 lux (> 140 foot-candles)[4]
Depth 2.0 m (6 ft 7 in) minimum[4]
Volume 2,500 m3 (88,000 cu ft) or
2,500,000 L (550,000 imp gal; 660,000 US gal)
minimum, depending on depth[4]

so roughly 3.29 olympic swimming pools, but that is with a depth of only 6 feet and your typical "Olympic" sized swimming pool is multi use and has a depth of 12 feet at the diving end. So it could really be closer to the quoted 2 pools worth. You would think that after all these years they would have figured out how to really get some, which just shows how rare it is.
