I'll vote G26, but I think you should go G19.

I second that. I'm a 1911 guy but they're too big for carry IMO.

I got the g26 hoping my wife would like it enough to carry. She decided she would rather have my Colt, go figure!

That being said I wish I had gotten the g19. The size difference is basically negligible and the capacity on the g26 is greater.

PS: Good luck finding a g19! They're pretty scarce.

But then I got my Addax Gas piston AR. Sure I still have to keep a few small replacement parts, but I'll let you kick me in the balls for every malfunction I have with my Addax GPU, thats how reliable it is!

So far we are at, hold on, let me check..... ZERO!

Mind you I think a lot more of many other guns but for CCW, its awfully hard to beat a G26.

Unless you dress around your gun, its hard to beat small for summer-time and convenience. The G26 doesn't give up a thing either in reliability or intimidation property.

I think the new HKP30 is pretty small for a full size 15rd+1 9mm...

However, for compact, I'd suggest the Walther PPS 9mm or .40S&W. I have the First Edition in 9mm. Its sweet, and configurable. Trigger is excellent too.

If coming and shooting my G19 will help seal the deal let me know before you buy something else. You buy the ammo and I will supply the range and G19.

I despise just about anything Taurus. Some here like their products, I myself have had nothing but bad luck. Just about every Taurus I've owned/had experience with had more miles on them (being shipped back for repair) than rounds through them. I wouldn't waste the money, especially when they aren't the "cheap" alternative anymore.

Of those you posted, I'd go G26, but I'd actually suggest the Glock 19. Best 9mm out there, most size-efficient, reliable, accurate, foolproof pistol on the market, IMHO. The G26 is a good pistol too, but that is more of a backup, or extreme warm weather gun to me. The 19 should be easily concealed just about anytime in anything more than shorts and no shirt.

I like the G19 so much, I suggested it as a duty pistol when my agency was considering issued guns. They went with the 21SF, but by my reasoning, they'd have many more officers carrying off duty if their duty pistol wasn't huge. Nothing wrong with the 21 mind you, but the 19 is much easier to conceal, and would lend itself to a wide variety of duties, not just uniform patrol work.

I've carried all of the above plus a few others and prefer my G30SF for CC. My wife carries a Sub compact XD9 and it is also a great gun. Either way(26,30,XD9) you cant go wrong IMO.

I agree that the G19/G23 is the best size Glock. If I ever buy a Glock, that'll be the one.

If it were me, I'd get a G26 but that's because Glock's fit my hand well and I shoot them well. As long as it's reliable, buy what you shoot best.
