i look at all these ff hand guards and it seems like so much dirt can get into the front of the rifle.
ive seen 1 or 2 ff hand guards where the front goes into either a triangular or circular cap. but for the most part i see end caps that are not much better than having nothing at all

I like my FF and they work perfect for me. Never really had a problem with dirt, which ones are you looking at?

I've brought a lot of stuff home from work over the years. (I am an RN among other things) but I NEVER thought about bringing any of those home!!
I have six or seven rifles with FF hand guards and have never had an issue with dirt getting up in there. I'd just spray it down with compressed air or guns scrubber if I got worried about it.
