But then I got my Addax Gas piston AR. Sure I still have to keep a few small replacement parts, but I'll let you kick me in the balls for every malfunction I have with my Addax GPU, thats how reliable it is!

So far we are at, hold on, let me check..... ZERO!

I like the red, but I keep coming back to it seeming real bright and bold.

I like the looks but it just seems so bright for some reason... maybe its the glossy finish...

I am thinking I am leaning towards a more original AK looks like VTD's beautys here:

They both look awesome. One set of each and you can use the light ones in the summer and the dark ones in the winter.

oh and I should note, those are not the actual ones I am looking at. I have a set and I am trying to decide which color to refinish it.

The red looks great, i agree, but the pics I have seen from places like Lancaster where they do the red stocks... it just doesn't sit that well with me...

It just seems to be the more original route and while the red is pretty, I think it would get old fast.

I have some time to think about it though. I might need to pick up another but-plate before sending it off, or just refinish the one I have.

Did you ever find a grip ferrule?

I did a secret santa thing on another board and received a REALLY nice set of laminate handguards in teh mail today. They look brand new, unfinished. I think they're going to take a trip to Z-Recto for an orange job after Christmas smile.gif

I like the red but I like the orange better. It seems more authentic.
