been noticint there's a lack of a decent "current deals" thread here. so lets see if y'all can keep this alive. best deal i got was yesterday mornin when the local wall-e-werld guy called at 7:15 a.m. and told me to get over quick. he just got in and had several 45 acp and 38 spl 100 round value packs on the shelf. i got 2 of each and left plenty for everyone else. each box was only $29.97 for a grand total of $128.27 that's $.32 a pop after tax. and ombexpress shows 223 ranger in stock for $11.11 for a 20 pack

Putin and the Russian Mafia and their skinhead (Russian) minions are making a lot of money because of Obama's ammo scare. Both Wolf polymer 62gr HP and Monarch Lacquer 55gr FMJ feed flawlessly and are decently accurate through the Addax GPU.

PMC 55gr is EVERYWHERE somewhat suddenly over the last two weeks at $9/box.
Just call me whacky... but I just can't get "market manipulation" off my mind.
Did ya hear that statement by the White House spokesperson over the weekend that now that we-the-people own 60% of GM, they are turning the Pontiac plant in Flint into ammunition production. Pontiac Made Cartridges! Really good news for the new union of United Ammunition Workers. Look for that long awaited $5 box of factory ammo by the 4th July. Really good deal again... except for the 60% sales tax.

where are you finding the P.M.C.? CONFUS12.gif $9 a box isn't a great deal but it's cheaper than 2 weeks ago.

My comment was mainly to mirror what some other members said about the recent availability of PMC. Of course I haven't been EVERYWHERE in two weeks but here is my experience...I first saw a stack of about 80 boxes at a sporting goods store in WA about two weeks ago. I mentioned it to a buddy who said he had seen pretty much the same at a gun shop about 60 miles away. Last weekend I saw short stacks of twentys on about eight tables at a gun show in WA and two vendors had what looked to be at least 8 cases of it. I had several conversations with guys at the show who said they were seeing it in their local shops also. I talked to two friends at work this week who said they also had seen PMC at a pawn shop and a hardware store. I don't shop the Cabela's, Scheel's, Wal-Marts so have nothing to report. I didn't buy any because I'm pretty well 55gr'd up and am waiting for some other stuff. I am serious when I say we'll see prices falling as supplies become more available by 4th of July-ish. Yea, I'm serious, but I also hope I'm right. Who knows really?

with unemployment at the highest it's been in 25 years, that means theoretically there should be less people buyin up ammo so it'll leave some for those of us fortunate enough to still be employed, and in turn drop demand giving us an excess of supply to be purchased for pennies putting a$$hole companies like CTD into chapter11 !!!

lets see if it works out. just got off the sportsmmans guide website and this may be of interest to those of you with 38/357 firearms. i just put in for a backorder of wx114008 150 grain lrn 38 special rounds with "free" 50 cal can for the unusually low price of $184!! with shipping and whatnot that comes out close to a third cheaper than anything i've been able to find anywhere. it is however backorderes until the 15 of july but it seems like a crazy good deal. i know i was paying $.34 a round for wwb at wall-e-weird less than 2 weeks ago. hopefully i'll look back in discust in 2 months for overpaying for it. maybe distributors are aware of an upcoming pin that's gonna pop this bubble. seein prices falling and ammo more often. anim_party.gif

hey moderators!! go ahead and delete this thread. i'm tired of posting whenever i find ammo and no one else seems to be getting off their a$$es to help out here. i have no problem posting ammo deals as i find them, but it'd be nice not to have to do all the work for the hoarders to reap the benefits.

Anyone bought from Elite? They are one of our sponsors.

I would highly recommend you do not buy from Elite Ammunition. I ordered 1,000 rds. of .223 from them around 6 months ago and I have still not received my ammo. I made multiple calls and e-mails to them and each time that I finally got in contact with them they told me it would be out the following week. I was told this at least 3 different times and obviously the ammo never got to my house. They are also poor in responding to e-mails and picking up their phone when you attempt to call them.

I would go with a different supplier.

Really?
I pick my phone all the time. If a VM is left I reply if I can understand it. If someone is inconsiderate enough to call and not leave a VM I still try to use my caller ID to call them back.

If I stated your ammo was shipped it was shipped.

PM me with you information and I will be happy to look into it.
