I think I made a mistake, is Cabels's one of this sites sponsers?
I ordered some components from them and they have not arrived yet, they said 3-6 days nad it has now been seven, can you believe it?

I have 55, 60, 65, 68 gr bullets coming. Can't wait to get some data on these through a 1:9, 16" barrel.

I see many links that you all have given me and will be using only Armory sponsers in the future. Fortunately for them I still need to get a bunch more stuff and will be ordering soon.

I've ordered a ton of stuff from Cabellas, they're typically pretty good, however if you want fast, that's Midway.

Midway is a sponsor here.

Another site I favor is Graf and Son's. They're pretty fast too. Not as large as Midway, they have excellent customer service as well.

Nice range of bullets you ordered. That'll put a grin on your face. Coming up for loads on those will be a lot of fun.

I placed an order with Cabela's on Tuesday and it was delivered today. My experience with them has been that they normally beat their estimated delivery date.

Cabelas is usually pretty good. Can't complain. Their prices are a bit high and I have to pay sales tax. Midway, on the other hand, is fast and I love a company that accurately updates inventory on their website. Nothing bothers me more than doing all of my research then deciding to place an order and I get an e-mail the next day saying they are out of stock and my order is on hold. If you order from Midway you know what you're getting and when you are getting it. I just ordered a RCBS 1500 powder charger combo from them and it shipped same day. They also had the best price I could find.

That is why I'm so impatient, can't wait to see what my S&W M&P15T 1:9 16" like the best. Thanks for the Midway info from before, I'm ordering the swager tool, powder dippers and trickler from them.

How is swager pronounced? Ger as in great or jelly?

The way to think of it is the operation is a swage and the "R" only denotes its the tool that does the operation. I use the general industry pronunciation as for what it does which is closer to "swege" than "swAge".

I just broke open the box to my XL650 that I haven't used since 1998. I know that is a sad statement, but I'm back in the saddle again and need to know the best places to buy components. It appears that prices have doubled since 1998 and I'm sure they will keep going up! Thanks for the input!

I don't know if I would be sad. Looking at today's ammo prices, I'd say you ought to be pretty darn happy you didn't sell it. thumb.gif
