How do you figure out which slings are right for your needs?

I do not need a muzzle down non-agressive position, only a comfortable all day semi-relaxed position that supports some of the weight of the carbine in front of the body and deploys quickly.

First you determine what your needs are which you have already done a pretty good job of below. Then you choose the appropriate sling to meet those needs.



Your needs as outlined above seem to indicate that a quick adjust two point sling would be ideal for your application.

TS - It is for that same Charles Daly AR in your link. What are you using as your front attach point?

The 2P is the same sling in my Daly review and in my "standard" setup of the GS 2P review. I use a standard M4 side sling swivel that you can get here. The gun in the GS 2P "weak side" review is an Addax GPU.
