I cant wait. We will start our camping/bowhunting adventures here in Ohio starting on the weekend of Oct 4th. There is nothing better than unzipping the tent climbing out and enjoying the sunrise with Mother Nature. This year we have a couple of destinations in mind that we have not visited as of yet.
I cant wait to get some pictures of the trees when everthing starts turning into the fall colors, defintely a beautiful scene to behold. We will camp every other weekend from this point until the begining of February, and we will enjoy 10 days in a row in the begining of December. One of these days I need to buy a 4 season tent. So far we have been getting along just fine with our current gear but a better tent might keep us a little warmer during the winter months.
Anyone else out there doing any cold weather camping? If so what do you use for a tent? 3 season or 4? The best investment I have made so far was getting a couple of cots. Boy getting off of the ground when its cold outside helps tremendously. Getting good sleeping bags has helped quite a bit the last couple of years as well.
