So I've gone through and made a list of everything I want and need, minus tools, with prices not including shipping. So here goes:
Barrel from blackhole(1:7 Chrome-moly 18.5"): $195
Spikes M16 BCG: $149.95
Spikes SL-15 lower:$89.95
Spikes M4 Upper: $115
DD Low-pro block: $56.95
Rifle length gas tube: $13
Barrel extention: $18.95
Barrel Nut: $8.95
Phantom-5C2: $24.99
Crush washer: $2.25
DPMS LPK: $49.95 (BCM)
RRA 2 Stage Trigger: $124
Miad grip(od green): $30
PRS stock(od green): $250
Rifle buffer: $14.95
Action spring: $4.50
Buffer Tube: $19.95
DD 14" Lite rail: $360
BCM Gunfighter: $44.95
MBUS(od green): $90 (Front and rear)
Troy M16A1 Reciever endplate Sling mount: $44.95

Now a couple things, one, let me know if you see anything missing. Two, I'm up in the air about fluting the barrel, it's only $50. As it stand with these prices, the total build cost is $1708.24 which is more than I was shooting for, but this is going to be exactly what I want, a completely custom rifle built to handle MK262 variants. The total also doesn't include the cost of having the barrel and inside the upper microslicked. Also thinking about having the outside's creokoated to match the OD but leaving the lower and rail black. Not sure on an optic yet, but I've got time to decide. To bad that weapon making program doesn't have all those options so I can see it smile.gif But it should be awesome when I get done

Do you want to build the gun yourself I take it? I know that both Addax and Johnson Tactical will build guns to your spec (both have SPRs).

Yeah, I really like the idea of having something that I made, or at least built.

I would go with the fluted barrel. It increases accuracy and cooling. But that is my opinion...

the rest looks really good.

How does fluting on the exterior of a barrel increase accuracy?

I think it would increase accuracy over an extended period of time because the barrel would be a consistent temp for longer.

That and it increases the rigidity of the barrel.

Well stated except, technically the fluting doesn't really INCREASE the rigidity, so much as it preserves some of the rigidity while allowing the barrel to be made lighter and increasing cooling surface area.

If you're going for an accuracy platform and would like a bit more corrosion resistance and and easier to manufacture accurate barrel, consider Stainless Steel.

Also, I would hope the barrel would already come with the barrel extension attached and with the gas port drilled in proper alignment. So you wouldn't need to pay to have a barrel extension attached after the fact and timed to the gas port.
