A guy I work with has a Navy Arms made in Italy 6 shot black powder revolver in .45 caliber. Is anyone hear familiar with this handgun? It looks cool as heck!
I want to shoot it with him but I need some backround info first. thumb.gif
Thanks in advance,
Kenny.

First of all, it should be a .44, not a .45.
Next, find out what it is. Could be an 1860 Colt Army, an 1858 Remington, a Walker, a Patterson, or one of the Dragoon models.
(there were at one time a number of incorrect 1851 Navy's built in .44......stay away!)

Of the lot, the Remington is the strongest, and the 1860 Army is the most popular. Likely it is one of these.
