Not :Yugo M67 7.62x39- avoid this shit at all costs, it is extremely corrosive and will cause harm to your firearms. The test gun: Yugo SKS

Hot: Wolf 12 gauge 00 Buck- it is very inexpensive and is just as affective as any other brand, please note that this ammo has a heavy recoil that is rather painful in repetitive shooting. The test gun: Ithaca M37 Featherweight.

Wolf 7.62x39- I highly suggest this ammo to be used with any AK or SKS. I have had very good test results, it is as accurate as the yugo crap but it has no side affects other than smelling like cat piss after prolonged shooting. Test gun: Yugo SKS

American Eagle in .45 and .380 ACP: I have had nothing but fun shooting and accurate shooting with this ammo, relatively clean burning. The test guns: SA 1911A1 "GI" and a Browning BDA .380.

g3, did you pattern that Wolf 12ga. ammo? Was it 2&3/4, or 3"?

BTW, unless you buy reduced recoil ammo for your shotgun, it's going to kick the snot out of you. Especially in a "featherweight" shotgun. smile.gif

I've been giving this info to folks since early 2004. Great looking ammo but the primers are extremely corrosive. The first time I shot this ammo was in a Russian SKS with chrome lined bore and hard chromed piston and I finally resorted to boiling water to clean the salts out! Good info. Throw the crap away, don't give it or sell it to anyone......................Mike

Thanks for the info on the Yugo ammo. I was doing some sorting and organizing and realized I have an unopened box of it. So, any stuff that's Yugo in that caliber with the "M67" designation is crap, huh?

(edited to correct the 76 to 67...sheesh, I swear I'm not dyslexic, dammit)

Thanks for that heads up! I will avoid Yugo M67.

Its one of those ammo types that you really have to love to clean your guns to use.

The shells for the 12 ga were 2 3/4.

Yup. I still have most of a case of the Yugo stuff that I don't use just because of the cleaning hassles. Still not sure what I'm going to do with all of it. Maybe take a sacrificial SKS to a range on a busy day and let folks shoot it up or something.
