I've been wanting one of these for a while. The king of semi-auto AK Variants (IMO of course)

A milled receiver, full stocked polytech Legend (386 series, Marked AK-47S) banana.gif banana.gif banana.gif

Great condition except for a couple of small dings in the lower handguard. Internal inspection shows absolutely no signs of use. I think it was someones closet gun. The mahogony red stained dark wood is gorgeous..the trigger is phenomenal..and the fit and finish is incredible. Really nice deep blueing and chromed bolt, carrier and mag follower. Factory cleaning kit is still complete in the stock.

I am pumped.

This is my 3rd Chicom AK......my second Polytech.

Now I've got the Poly AK-47...AND the Poly AKS semi-auto variants.....

Whoohoo plot.gif

Now I just need a Legend underfolder, an AKS-762 underfolder and the AKS-762 full stocked type with the spike bayonet and I'll have a pretty respectable collection. shifty.gif

These guns have great collectors value and should appreciate for several reasons.

1) the ban on importation of norinco/polytech guns

2) The 1989 import ban.

As I am moving back to VT fairly soon I decided to trade in some pre-MA-ban stuff that will be worthless when I get home for something that will retain value and appreciate.

hehehehe....first new toy in a while. bc)

That is very nice. I have been putting off buying an AK of any kind. I really haven't found one that I really thought was great. I like the Milled receiver AK's. When I can find one in that good a shape and for a decent price I will buy one.

If you can find one of these suckers, snap it up.

NIB ones go for way too much money but if you can find a lightly used one with no box for a good price you'll be in business.

THis one was marked at $1250. Steep....but I did ok in the trade.

I could have gotten a very very slightly used one for $1200 two weeks ago or an NIB for $1400... Still kicking myself for letting them pass. Only thing I'd like more as far as AK's are concerned is a Chinese with a spike bayo...

Tempt me not, Satan! Actually now I'm back working on AR-related stuff, maybe a 9mm and buying mag and debating on which optice/sight I'm going to put on my DSA ZM4 (POF)... That and I just failed to save money by not switching to Geico. laugh.gif

But then I got my Addax Gas piston AR. Sure I still have to keep a few small replacement parts, but I'll let you kick me in the balls for every malfunction I have with my Addax GPU, thats how reliable it is!

So far we are at, hold on, let me check..... ZERO!
