I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference. ~Robert Frost

Same here.

Obviously it's Bush's fault for not spending money there....

My first thought was....

Didn't Michael Crichton write a book about that? Lava flows in the Congo?

Perhaps they were fleeing those evil apes who were protecting King Solomon's mine.

Damn filthy apes.

What? How'd you derive something political from that? I assume you're being sarcastic but I'm still scratching my head.

I was expecting a Hudson River type scene with a plane floating/burning in lava. I guess I should have known it was an overly sensationalistic headline meant to grab attention for a story most people would normally ignore.

They have planes?

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
