One of the few who were actually born here (Miami a looooooooooooong time ago). Currently in Palm Beach county (for the last 22 years, down from Volusia - Port Orange)

I just found thid site a few days ago. I have been in Florida for 2 years now. Formerly from Houston, Tx. Long time shooter, but new to AR world. Looking for my first AR - possibly DPMS Panther 20" 223 or 7.62 flea.gif

I'm a florida cracker. Just got my first ar15 it's a stag model 3. My woman bought it for me for christmas. Hope to get somemore cool toys. Any one know of any good gun stores in the tampa bay area?

Also a Florida cracker! Mostly handguns in my 'armory' but just purchased a new Bushmaster Carbon 15 so I'm ready to return to the AR15 world (qualified Expert with the M16 so I feel somewhat familiar with this little guy). The reason I posted is to inquire about the Eotec 512. I am considering ordering this particular sight system and would like to know what the members have to say about it. Thanks for any comments...

Welcome! The EOtech is great-you'll love it. Very fast, especially inside of 50 yards.

ok. a lot of Floridians here! other than the gun shows, anyone know where(anywhere in Florida) I can walk out with a complete upper assembly? built my lower(thanks to an excellent thread on his same site. wish i knew how to post a link!) and now i need an upper. Any ideas? thanks
