It was last weekend. The usual venders were there as were the same folks I usually see. This is always a social even for many of us here.
It was pretty packed Sat., but Sunday was real slow.

The last 2 shows at DB were wall to wall people which was just before the election and then a few months after.
This show did not have the SHTF feel that the last 2 shows had.

Prices on AR's were down nearly 20% in some cases. Complete lowers were $349. Lots of AR accessories there too.
A few Rusky SKS's were spotted at about $400. A couple Mosins priced over $200...a bit high I thought and they looked ratty.
I did not see the usual FAL's M1A's or 308 MBR's. I only saw 1 PTR-91 and an AR-10.

I saw Garand that was overpriced for no reason. Just because your cousin shot it in a CMP match does not turn it into a collector. Sheesh... 1huh.gif
And by the way 30-06 ammo was non-existent in mil-surp.

Rifle sales were way down but handgun sales were very brisk. The booth next to ours was doing nothing but handguns all weekend. He sold about 2 rifles both days.
This was the sentiments of other vendors I talked to as well. I expect that the local handgun trainers who were there were getting lot's of signups.

Ammo was high and some venders apparently thought the end of the world was coming with their Wolf 45 for $45 a box.
Lot's of new ammo companies springing up and they had many popular calibers. One even had a good supply of 10mm ammo!

Primers were easy to get and about the price you would get them locally, IOW, no gouging.
Not much in the way of rifle bullets but lots of bullets for handguns.
Lot's of used brass but it was not selling like I thought it would as many vendors still had lots of inventory on Sunday.

Since we are a private transfer state, lots of people were walking around with rifles and handguns with signs on them stating they were for sale.
The private sale /non-FFL tables always get picked clean by noon Sat and Sunday it is slim pickings.

There have been an increasing amount of non firearm related items at this show for the last 2 years, like jewelry, crafts, etc.

The political talk was as expected with the current state of affairs in our country.

I wish I could've gone. I heard there were a couple of good deals on lowers. WEAK!
