I think its the higher AR15 mount. There are two models on various sites-- both the same price.

I am sure a Vortex rep would probably say this better and it be more official, but according to some research, a few models with a hollow crossbolt were produced by the OEM factory, WITH OUT Vortex's approval. These crossbolts were known to break. However, my research also shows Vortex will replace the hollow crossbolt with a solid one, free of charge. All of their newest models have the solid crossbolt. So it isn't a huge deal, just wondering.

I think I answered my own question. laugh.gif I'd say the odds are pretty good if the units are new.
