hell thats just the highlights list lol, the training stuff in that list starts at MOUTs! The Rock's ok, haven't got out much though. I'm at Kadena AFB, this week I was on this program they call Head Start, gives you some language skills, cultural knowledge and history of the battle. Then you go out on a battle tour and then down to this place called Ryukyu Mura, it's a recreation of the villages at the time of the battle. They do some dancing, singin n ya get to swallow a shot or two of sake. If ya pay for the Habu Snake show ya get to taste of the good stuff, I walked out with a decent buzz on, then we proceeded to American Village. Couple of us hit a Soba shop that was actually Ramen noodle(demmit this stuff sux after ya eat the true noodle) had a coupla Sapporo's n some Yaku Soba n jumped back on the bus. Havin issues finding a car I actually like though, had to give up on getting a truck they're more costly than I thought.
Dang sounds like your having fun
Did they give you a sample of the habu powder after the habu/mongoose fight??
Still have a bottle of Habu Sake
Are the mini van's still cheap?? knew a couple family guys who got em for under $2k and ran the piss out of em while there. I got a car on base from a guy PCSing for 1K and ran it into the ground the 3 years I was there. Ended up getting $50 for it when I left
Wish I remembered the bar on BC street we went to, gave momma san a bottle a month from the class VI and drank for free....
