Man I am getting excited already!!!
I put a cheaper TruGlo red dot on my Mossberg 500 12 gauge. Put the Mossberg 2X turkey choke on and sighted it in on Sunday afternoon. Any gobbler that gets within 40 yards of me is going to end up in my deepfrier!!!
I will be shooting Remington 2 3/4 longe range express #6's again this year. I have tried the 3" mags in #4 and #5 in the past and found the recoil to be a bit much for me so I went back to the 2 3/4 high brass with good results. I may put a better recoil pad on it and try them again but I will wait until after this season is over first.
I have my box calls chalked up and ready to go.
I have my glass/slate calls scuffed up ready to go.
I have my decoy's touched up and ready for action.
I have my locator calls cleaned up and ready to roll.
All I need now is Opening Day!!!

On a side note: I am going to try like crazy again this year to get a Gobbler with my bow!

And Joeyb2100, you and George had better get them new boots broken in before we hunt this spring or your gonna be bummin!!!! Dude, I can't wait!!! oh yea.gif

still have things to gather up im afraid. im using kent ammo in 3 inch shells 5 and 6 shot my big things are rain gear and boots but i get my refund in a few days oh yea.gif

Got a hen during fall season and I saw a ton of turkeys during deer season..... Should make for an exciting spring season

I am all set too. Just got my box of Reminton Nitro #5 for use in the 870. Doing the buddy system this year and we flip for first shot. Should be fun.
