Hey guys, I don't know if you remember, but awhile ago I asked about smoothing out my trigger? I decided to give it a try, so I put the FCG out, and used some 400 grit sand paper and some 600 grit. I basically just polished the face of the trigger, nothing else. When I put it all back together, it was awesome...but I dry fired it a bit (20-30 times) and found that it went from nice and smooth to VERY heavy...way less creep, but really really heavy. I took the FCG back out, and looked at it, and it didn't look like anything had changed. I put it back together, and suddenly it was back to the nice smooth pull. So, I dry fired it some, and it started doing it again! But this time, a few times it was like the trigger put was ridiculously light, but only after I would pull the trigger. It would catch on the disconnecter, but as soon as I started to move my finger (and therefore the trigger) forward, it would drop the hammer instead of catching. Any ideas? I noticed that the hammer catch where the trigger acutally trips isn't level...I didn't mess with it, but I did notice that. Would simply smoothing the front of the trigger cause me all these problems?
