Anyone know of a good holster for an XD40 Service model (4" barrel) that will also work with a TLR-2 tactical light/laser??

I'm looking for an IWB that is needed ASAP (as I work nights, plus the sun go down around 4:30pm) and be good to find a holster for the duty belt for camping season.

+1 One Bladetech gear, I use their UCHs for just about everything I carry IWB. They're a little slower to get, but worth it. Another company I hear great things about is Raven Concealment. Great products and price, but glacial comms.

I've got a Raven Concealment belt holster (not IWB) for the Sig 229/TLR-1 and it's a superb holster & wear it with a Wilderness 5 stitch belt. had a reply to my e-mail inquiry about 24 hours & quick answers for the rest of my questions & fast service for the holster.

However, have read that they are swamped and way to many orders for a small company & as such communication with them has suffered some.

Love the Raven Concealment & the CTAC, call em and ask if they can make you what you want.

Remember the belt is part of the concealment system and you will need a superb quality gun belt instead of a normal pants belt.

and what's this I keep hearing about belts?? I have a regular belt (fairly stiff) that I use for OC and IWB holsters, and never had any issues with them..???

A regular belt, no matter how stiff you think it is, is not a gun belt. The difference is like night and day. I get my belts from the beltman.net. There is no substitute for a real gunbelt. a holster and belt are a system that work together.

I have an actual duty belt that I use with my firearm. Only time I open carry is with my duty belt on (camping/grandparents property), otherwise it's an IWB holster, which my current belt does just fine with..

I can tell you that you only think your belt is fine. Once you switch to a real belt, you will wonder why you ever waited.

I had a "gun belt" that I had bought from a gun store. It was 1.5" and I used it for about 6 months. Then my pants changed as I was wearing dress pants more often, and started using a thick belt I bought a gordmans as the belt looks were too small..really the same to me. But I do understand what you're syaing. I had a levis leather belt that would sag and was flimsy. I ditched that real quick

Beltman makes AWESOME belts. I bought one after Gmountain recommended them for my CCW, and I never looked back. (And I wondered why I ever waited). Then I bought another one (a larger/thicker one) to be able to carry the behemoth Desert Eagle and spare mag carrier should I ever want to pack that thing around. Those belts EASILY do the trick. I got the double thick bullhide with internal stiffeners, and man oh man, what a difference. (got the 1.5" for everyday carry, and the 2" for the DE). And like G said, you really don't know what a real belt is until you have one. I learned real quick that you can't skimp on quality when it comes to your self defense gear. I even wear a Beltman gunbelt for my everyday belt now. Do yourself a favor, quit being cheap and check out The Beltman.
