Been kind of on the fence about ordering one of the carbines from cmp. Already have a Garand I got last Jan 2008 and just never got onboard for the carbine. Just checked the site and they have the Inland and Underwood carbines left. May get the forms filled out and send in for one of the Inlands. Was'nt going to get a carbine but now I'm seriously leaning towards placing an order for one. Probably will be 3 or 4 months or more before it ships so have a while before the payment actually hits me.

The carbines are a lot of fun. I've been thinking about getting one as well.

Oh geeze, y'all had to remind me I don't have a carbine yet. An Underwood might have to make it into my safe.

+10 Carbines are fun to shoot. Plus all the history behind them make it even better.

Well, finally sent in the paperwork today for a Service Grade Inland. Now the waiting begins.

The wait might get a little shorter, they are closing the stores for a while to have all staff working on the backlog of orders.

Is this still true or are they open again?

They closed for a week back in march. Should be open now but have a friend who drove over to the South Store and they were closed. About a 3 1/2 to 4 hour trip. Anyone planing on going should call to make sure they will be open.
