I'm really thinking about getting one of the Charles Daly DV 24 Match Target and Varmit Rifles. Does anyone have any feedback on these?

I've got a CDD DM4LE and love it, but would like somthing with a 1 MOA or better.

Thanks in advance.

You would not go wrong with that CD rifle. I have the M4 LE model and love it.

I have the D4MLE as well, and like it. I'm very impressed with the quality. Was hoping someone had some info regarding the DV 24 in particular. Was hoping for a 1/2 MOA type rifle. I went ahead and ordered it through Davidsons.com, as they are having a sale right now on thd DV 24. I'll post a review once I get it in and do some bench work with it.

Thanks.

Took delivery this afternoon. First impressions are as follows:

Great fit of the lower to the upper, no play. Lines are nice and smooth. Just what I would have expected of a Charles Daly.

The charging handle has a tight, but smooth and even stroke.

Magazine feeds easily and with a positive click. You don't have to hammer it hard to get it set in. Release is just as smooth.

2 Stage trigger seems to work well, although the creep seems a little long to me, but I'm not really used to a 2 stage. Break is not bad.

I've got a Burris 4.5x14 Fullfield II coming, and once installed, I'll post some pics.

Overall, very pleased. Really hoping this turns into a tack driver, as we have a lot of prarie dogs in our hay fields.

Stu (hsracer201) had one, IIRC. I'm a Daly fan as well.
