Folks the craziness must be dying, 8 week turn around for my last Form 1.

Mailed the paperwork in on 8/22/09
Funds transferred into the ATF account 09/01/09
Form 1 went pending 09/24/09
Form 1 with stamp delivered to my mailbox on 10/30/09

Was your Form 1 signed by the CLEO in your area or did you go the Trust route?

I went through the Chief of Police for both of mine. My first Form 1 I sent out in January 2009 and got it back in July 2009. My second one I sent out in early August 2009 and haven't gotten anything back to date.

I think I'm going to look into setting up a Tust so I don't have to keep going through the Chief, fingerprints, and background check.

Trust is the only way to go, after reading about how you can legally have co-trustees and heirs on them made the decision for me pretty darn fast.

Here is a Trust by a legal firm and it is not just a net written one. LINK
