i have a few taurus's. i have a pt100 i bought used and i have put prob 3000 rounds without one problem, i have a pt1911 with about 3000 that has never given me any problems either, i also have a model 44 mag revolver that i also got used and have put prob 300 rounds through it since purchase all have been great guns. i know a few people with other model taurus auto's that have been absolute crap. i think they make a few great guns and make some poor ones as well. i would take tn6.8's word and stay away if he has problems with it i probably wouldnt spend the money to end up with the same problems. just my .02
