Any problems using these type of lights on a "home defense" AR?

As long as you get the light mounted where the switch is easy to manipulate I can't see any problems with those lights. They're made to be weapon-mounted so you're GTG as far as recoil resistance and for in-home use you don't need some super high-powered 150-yard beam.

Thanks!

They are around 80 lumens IIRC. My logic is that it is not too bright where the light bouncing off of white/light colored walls would blind me.

Ive put my M3 on my AR before, and it worked out good. Its bright enough so you dont even have to point the gun at someone to see them. Only downside is the switch manipulation.

I use them on my .223 pistol, and my .22 pistol... they work great.
