Yes you helped me a lot. Thanks for the detailed explanation. thumb.gif

Ijust took my 10mm Uzi out to the range to shoot off 120 rounds of my 135 grain handloads at 100 yards. with iron sights,Iwas able to hit the man sized target almost every time.I ended up shooting the center out of the target and had trouble finding a clear spot on the target to aim at. Next upgrade for my toy is the .357 sig barrel and a top cover scope mount.

hwonderdog: Do yourself a tremendous favor and forget the .357 Sig barrel for the Uzi. You'd likely be better served by a 9x25 Dillon conversion. Because;

a) There are no ridiculous "spring changes" to run the less powerful cartridge(s);

b) there's so much less for you to do when it comes to loading ammunition, and

c) it is more powerful and will chew the living devil out of anything at 100 yards!

The .357 Sig only WISHES that it come close!

I just wish thatI could find someone with a chamber reamer to convert the 357 sig barrel to 9x25 Dillon,But I cant find someone who has the proper tools.I would even send one of my 9mm barrels out to be converted.

I forgot to mention the the ejection port may not be big enough to handle the 9 X 25 Dillon (or the 10mm Auto for that matter). Check into this before altering your barrel. If it isn't, you can still have the barrel reamed for the .357 Sig cartridge.

It should not be a problem asI have fired 9mm,10mm,45 acp,45 super and .357 sig out of the same gun , All that is required fo rthe caliber changes is to swap out the 45acp extractor for a 9mm extractor and switch out the barrel. However, the extractor has been changed now for about 2 weeks, so all I have to do is switch the barrel and have a loaded magazine ready.

Because subguns are COOLER! laugh.gif

Seriously though they do give more fire power then a pistol and not much larger.
