AS you may or may not know I am getting a used 1006 this week. Got it on a auction site and am wondering what springs I should replace since I do not know how much it was used. Once I get the pistol I can take some pictures and let you see but I need some ideas on what are the good springs that a gun novice can replace. I am fimilar with the 1911 ans some spring changes there but need some help here. What are the good springs to get as well as what Lbs settings should I get if I plan to shoot factory loads. THANKS IN ADVCANCE

I have a 22# spring kit from Wolff in mine as I use the hotter factory stuff and handloads. The recoil spring is easy to replace. The firing pin spring is a fairly involved process.

Personally, if I didn't know how many rounds through it, I'd replace the recoil spring and the firing pin spring, then see how it shoots. I think the rest of the factory spring, unless dmaaged, should be good to go. As TaosGlock said, the FP spring is a little involved to replace, but it's not impossible.
