My youngest son does not like hot dogs. We came up with an idea that seems to work. Take your favorite hot dog and cut an "X" in each end lengthwise. When cooked over a campfire[any heatsource] the ends will fold up into an eight-legged spider dog. He will eat his weight in these. Try em, the kids will have some fun with it.

LOL, thats ironic because I just got a Japanese cookbook that has something in it similar to that, only you make an x and a + on the same end to turn it into an octopus!
